A dog has saved his owner from a house fire in the Sydney suburb of Eagle Vale.
Fire crews arrived at the property to find the property well-alight shortly before midnight on 7th October.
Neighbours say the home owner was made aware of the blaze by his dog, giving him ample time to escape.

He was taken to hospital with minor smoke inhalation.
The home was destroyed by the fire.
