The NSW Rural Fire Service has declared a total fire ban after the Bureau of Meteorology issued a severe weather warning.
Due to warm, dry and windy conditions throughout the day, a severe fire danger is forecast for the Greater Sydney region.
The Rural Fire Service advises people to monitor the situation through the day, and in the event of a fire, only stay if your home is well-prepared and you can actively defend it.
