A whale is trapped in netting off Bilgola in Sydney’s north.
The mammal has reportedly swallowed part of the net, which is now caught in its mouth and wrapped along its body from head to trail. Another whale, believed to be a calf, is swimming by its side.
Help is currently on hand to assist the whale.
